Job Summary:
As a Telephone Operator at Geisinger Health System, you will be the primary point of contact for all incoming calls, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless communication with patients, members, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Screen and direct calls to the appropriate department or individual.
  • Place outgoing calls and respond to emergencies, alarms, and traumas.
  • Provide information and assistance to callers, including patient room numbers and directions to hospital areas.
  • Maintain accurate records and update the internal on-line directory.

Requirements:

Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) is required.

Experience:
A minimum of 1 year of related work experience is required.

Skills:
Clerical I, Communication, Computer Literacy, Teamwork
