Job Summary

Maxsim Inc is seeking a highly skilled Traffic Control Flagging Expert to join our team in the Bay area. As a key member of our traffic control team, you will be responsible for ensuring public safety and temporary traffic control on our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively with drivers and pedestrians to ensure safe passage through construction zones
  • Operate signaling devices, such as paddles and flags, to provide clear guidance to drivers
  • Set up and maintain traffic control signs, barricades, and cones to cordon off construction areas
  • Direct movement of traffic through construction sites using sign, hand, and flag signals
  • Warn construction workers of approaching vehicles and prevent accidents
  • Record license plate numbers of traffic control violators for police
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED and 1 year of related experience/training
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must pass background check
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Sound knowledge of state traffic regulations
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in harsh weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Flagger Certification
  • Willingness to work overtime and in all types of weather conditions
Work Environment:

As a Traffic Control Flagging Expert, you will be working outdoors at construction sites, maintenance facilities, and other environments with exposure to inclement weather. You will be required to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds and may be exposed to safety hazards and dangerous tools and equipment.
