Overview

At Atlassian, we're passionate about empowering teams to achieve their goals. As an Account Associate, you'll play a critical role in driving customer value realization through the adoption of our System of Work. You'll collaborate with customers to optimize revenue retention and growth, leveraging your expertise in consultative sales and customer success.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional Net Retention and Gross Retention rates through effective communication, risk mitigation, and expansion discovery.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of Enterprise customers through the contract management lifecycle.
  • Partner with Sales Teams on account planning to drive total book of business growth.
  • Understand and document customer business priorities, as well as current use of Atlassian product suite, to optimize value and discover cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Foster relationships and collaboratively sell with Atlassian Solution Partner sales representatives.
  • Accurately forecast pipeline for renewal opportunities on a weekly cadence.
  • Maintain operational excellence through continuous improvement, prioritization, and accountability.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in account management, customer success, sales, or other relevant business area working with Enterprise (Fortune 1000) customers.
  • Background in consultative sales approach with an emphasis on discovery, navigating complex business needs and requirements.
  • Success in building strong relationships while growing accounts across your book of business, prioritizing and managing time amidst competing priorities.
  • Passion for meeting or exceeding performance goals.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian product suite, understanding of common uses cases and ways of work, as well as CRM tools, Business Intelligence, CSM platforms, forecasting software, and work collaboration tools.
  • Experience working with channel partners and resellers.
  • Interest in agile ways of working, project management, DevOps, and automation, or IT service management.
Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable and explainable compensation programs. Our baseline pay range is higher than the typical market range, but we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay is determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. We have three geographic pay zones in the United States.

For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

  • Zone A: $55.96
  • Zone B: $50.77
  • Zone C: $46.73

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity. Please visit /payzones for more information on which locations are included in each of our geographic pay zones.
