Position Overview

As the Supervisor of the Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) Bank Services team, you will lead a group dedicated to the upkeep of the Solvas database and the management of the JIRA queue initiated by the Client Service cash teams. Your role will involve close collaboration with internal support personnel, CLO Reporting Specialists, and Portfolio Accounting Analysts, as well as external clients and agent banks, to facilitate the establishment and ongoing management of syndicated bank loan facilities for the CLO Trust Group. A comprehensive understanding of Bank Loans (including Broadly Syndicated and Middle Market), CLOs, and other intricate fixed income structures is essential. In your leadership capacity, you will oversee daily operational tasks while ensuring adherence to controls such as break reports, contract reports, ClearPar settlement reports, and other Management Information Systems (MIS) designed to enhance the quality of the Solvas database. You will be responsible for identifying procedural deficiencies and proposing controls, solutions, or automation to mitigate risks. Additionally, you will optimize the team's workload using internally developed tools and metrics, delegate tasks during team member absences, and manage team performance through annual performance evaluations and ongoing reviews throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of escalation for data integrity concerns within the Solvas database.

Engage with internal clients, agent banks, investment managers, and middle office teams.

Supervise team members to ensure compliance with all Internal Key Operating Procedures.

Oversee the team's management of tickets within the JIRA database.

Manage staff responsible for ClearPar settlements.

Maintain close communication with senior management, operations, group audit, analytics, legal, and other internal stakeholders.

Leadership Expectations

Communicate effectively with senior management, conveying information succinctly to high-level leaders within the organization.

Understand the mechanics of bank loan facilities and collaborate closely with internal reporting and cash teams.

Identify operational bottlenecks and work collaboratively with IT and analytics teams to develop and implement effective solutions.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics.

Extensive experience with CLOs of bank loans and moderate experience in managing medium-sized teams.

General knowledge of structured credit products.

Expertise in Solvas and Portfolio systems.

Strong familiarity with Markit ClearPar and Markit Notice Manager.

Preferred Skills

Proficiency in all MS Office applications.

Advanced skills in MS Excel, including complex formulas and modeling techniques.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Strong organizational capabilities.

Fluency in English.
