Key Responsibilities
  • Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll for all employees, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure all employee information is up to date.
  • Review and verify time sheets, work charts, and other documents to ensure accurate payments.
  • Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports and summaries to management.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
  • Assist with year-end reporting and audits.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to improve payroll processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 1-5 years of experience in payroll processing or a related role.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations is a plus.
