Job Title: Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team at Hendrick Automotive Group. As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in identifying and documenting necessary body repair work for customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule appointments with customers and work with Collision Center Technicians to identify required repair work.
  • Offer additional services and repairs to customers, ensuring they receive the best possible solution for their vehicle.
  • Compute the cost of replacement parts and labor to restore vehicles to their original condition.
  • Enter itemized estimates on repair orders and explain them to customers, ensuring transparency and clarity.
  • Maintain high standards for repair and order production, meeting or exceeding company expectations.
  • Participate in required training and stay up-to-date with industry developments to provide exceptional service.
  • Record all hours worked accurately in the company timekeeping system.
  • Follow safety rules and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of body repair methods and techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal and persuasive selling skills to effectively communicate with customers.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ability to learn Collision Center Management System and other software programs.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions, communicate effectively with customers and company personnel, and work in a fast-paced environment.
