We are seeking a skilled Cost Estimation Specialist to manage the assessment of expenses, material requirements, and project schedules for a significant mixed-use construction initiative located in Norwich.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the lead project manager and engage with external client personnel, key stakeholders, and our internal team.

You will be entrusted with the oversight of specific responsibilities while on-site.

This is a permanent position with standard Monday – Friday working hours and offers a competitive salary of up to £70,000.

As a Cost Estimation Specialist, your primary duties will encompass:
Conducting financial analysis for repair and maintenance projects.
Preparing and evaluating project cost estimates for bids, including materials, quantities, labor, and timelines.
Executing risk and value management, along with cost oversight during the construction phase.
Identifying, assessing, and formulating responses to commercial risks.
Negotiating contracts and project timelines.
Managing project finances to ensure optimal value.
Analyzing results and composing comprehensive progress reports.
Advising on and implementing procurement strategies.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Cost Estimation.
Experience with a principal contractor.
Strong analytical skills.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Availability to start within the next month.
Willingness to work on-site in Norwich four days a week.
