About the Role

Globe Life Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Relations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in developing and executing charitable giving initiatives that align with our company's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and Development: Conduct thorough research to identify and evaluate charitable giving opportunities that align with Globe Life's mission and values.
  • Nonprofit Partnerships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with nonprofit organizations to build trust and foster collaborative partnerships.
  • Event Planning and Execution: Plan, promote, and execute hands-on activities that support Globe Life's charitable giving initiatives, including fundraising events and community engagement programs.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with the Corporate Communications team to engage employees and agents in charitable giving initiatives, and communicate the impact of our philanthropic efforts to stakeholders.
  • Travel and Representation: Represent Globe Life at local and national events, conferences, and meetings to promote our charitable giving initiatives and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Grant Management: Review and process charitable giving requests to ensure they align with established guidelines and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Reporting and Evaluation: Document and report on the impact of our charitable giving initiatives, including metrics and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: Three years of relevant work experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing charitable giving initiatives.
  • Skills: Strong project management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows, project management tools, and design and proofing software.
