Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all safety, environmental, security, and quality standards, including Quality Management Systems (QMS), FDA regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex challenges and engage in projects that enhance technological capabilities.
  • Analyze and interpret technology and business trends, recommending best practices to the organization.
  • Evaluate, develop, and implement a variety of new technologies with moderate complexity.
  • Identify and procure new equipment and technology as needed.
  • Create and review essential documentation such as protocols, reports, and specifications.
  • Plan and execute engineering projects addressing unique challenges that impact significant programs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements and complexity.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with individuals and business units within the organization.
  • Develop expertise in specialty areas and deploy your knowledge across various teams and locations, with occasional travel as required.
  • Promote Quality within the Engineering discipline, ensuring adherence to the QMS and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related technical field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in engineering or technical roles.
  • Candidates lacking the educational background may be considered with 15+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong foundation in technical problem-solving, with training in methodologies such as Six Sigma (Green Belt minimum, Black Belt preferred), 8D, RCA, 5-Why, and others.
  • Proven ability to analyze and resolve technical issues, leading to measurable improvements in productivity and capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to mentor less experienced colleagues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly to all organizational levels.
  • Maintain composure in a dynamic production environment.
  • Possess a positive attitude and a commitment to achieving results.
