Senior Citrix Cloud Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Establish and maintain cloud infrastructure to support client applications.
- Citrix System Oversight: Conduct daily management of the Citrix infrastructure.
- Security Enhancements: Implement security measures for Citrix services according to industry best practices and necessary cybersecurity regulations.
- Troubleshooting Expertise: Execute root cause analysis for any Citrix-related issues within the AWS framework.
- Software Maintenance: Organize and execute major version updates of Citrix software.
- Documentation Development: Create and uphold documentation for systems, infrastructure, and processes (including system diagrams, network layouts, software settings, device configurations, and standard operating procedures).
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, implement, and sustain IaC for Citrix services.
- Application Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve customer application issues, encompassing network, storage, operating system, and application-level diagnostics.
- AWS Resource Management: Oversee AWS resources, set up alerts and notifications, and manage AWS assets for cloud clients.
- On-Call Incident Support: Provide triage and resolution for production incidents outside of regular hours.
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Suggest enhancements for security, scalability, manageability, and performance across various technologies.
Required Skills:
- Cloud Engineering Experience: Senior level experience in IaaS is essential, with some PaaS experience preferred.
- Networking Knowledge: Fundamental understanding of routing, firewalls, and load balancing is required; familiarity with server technologies and application stacks is preferred.
- AWS Proficiency: Skilled in utilizing Amazon AWS cloud resources.
- Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Project Management Skills: Proven experience in managing multiple large-scale projects in a dynamic environment.
- Technical Acumen: Strong troubleshooting capabilities across the entire technology stack.
- Automation Proficiency: Familiarity with tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Python, Powershell, Bash, Puppet, Chef, etc.
- DoD Familiarity: Basic knowledge of DoD STIGs and IA Vulnerability Management (IAVM) is preferred.
