Senior Citrix Cloud Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure to facilitate customer applications.
- Citrix System Oversight: Execute daily management of the Citrix environment.
- Security Enhancements: Strengthen Citrix services in accordance with industry best practices and necessary cybersecurity protocols.
- Issue Resolution: Conduct root cause analysis for any Citrix-related challenges within the AWS ecosystem.
- Software Maintenance: Organize and execute significant version upgrades of Citrix software.
- Documentation Development: Create and sustain comprehensive documentation for systems, infrastructure, and processes (including system diagrams, network architecture, software settings, device configurations, and standard operating procedures).
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, implement, and uphold IaC for Citrix services.
- Application Troubleshooting: Diagnose and analyze customer application issues, encompassing network, storage, operating system, and application-level concerns.
- AWS Resource Management: Oversee AWS resources, set up alerts and notifications, and manage AWS assets for cloud clients.
- After-Hours Support: Provide triage and resolution for production incidents occurring outside of regular hours.
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Propose enhancements for security, scalability, manageability, and performance across diverse technologies.
Required Skills:
- Senior Cloud Engineering Experience: IaaS expertise required, with some PaaS experience preferred.
- Networking Fundamentals: Basic understanding of routing, firewalls, and load balancing required; familiarity with server technologies and application stacks preferred.
- AWS Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Amazon AWS cloud resources.
- Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Project Management Experience: Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects in a dynamic environment.
- Technical Acumen: Strong troubleshooting capabilities across the entire technology stack.
- Automation Proficiency: Familiarity with tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Python, Powershell, Bash, Puppet, Chef, etc.
- DoD Familiarity: Understanding of DoD STIGs and IA Vulnerability Management (IAVM) preferred.
