Key Responsibilities

Account Management:

  • Position Managed Services, Professional Services, and Technology Practices to align with customer needs and establish trust.
  • Maintain a proactive understanding of the IT landscape and competitive dynamics.
  • Effectively communicate competitive advantages to deliver value to clients.
  • Ensure seamless coordination and support between account teams and technical resources.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of systems development related to hardware and software products.
  • Build relationships across all organizational levels, from technical implementers to CTO/CIO.
  • Collaborate with the Inside Sales Team to ensure accurate quote provision and order processing, while working with engineering to scope projects effectively.
  • Provide comprehensive customer technology roadmaps and collaborate with Marketing and Inside Sales to identify new sales opportunities through various methods, including cold calling and in-person meetings.
  • Develop a pipeline of new opportunities while closing existing ones.
  • Identify and create business needs with senior executive decision-makers.
  • Develop a detailed territory plan and individual account strategies for effective penetration.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of each account's industry and business.
  • Maintain accurate and timely forecasts using Hubspot.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Strategic Planning

  • Participate in monthly and quarterly account planning sessions with strategic manufacturing partners.
  • Present Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) to the VP of Sales, addressing past performance, current expectations, pipeline analysis, key wins, and personal improvement goals.
  • Foster partnerships with vendor sales representatives to optimize joint selling opportunities within the territory and utilize quarterly forecasting and pipeline management to drive sales growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, technology, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a technology company, Value-Added Reseller, or Original Equipment Manufacturer is essential.
  • Proven experience selling to C-level executives and enterprise technical solutions.
  • A strong aptitude for learning technology.
  • Experience with formal consultative sales methodologies is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, written communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to clearly articulate and demonstrate the value proposition.
  • Exceptional follow-through skills and personal drive are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Experience with Solution Selling Sales Training is a plus.
