Job Title: Account Manager - Truck Sales

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team at Saige Partners. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of commercial truck sales accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial truck sales accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues to ensure a positive experience.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory or customer base.
  • Conduct needs assessments to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate truck solutions.
  • Develop and present customized proposals and quotes, negotiating terms, and closing sales.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets through proactive account management and business development.
  • Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Provide feedback to the sales team and management on customer preferences and potential growth areas.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing and delivery.
  • Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Manage the resolution of issues related to truck delivery, warranty, or service, maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Prepare regular reports on account status, sales performance, and market trends.
  • Ensure all sales documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Requirements:
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Some mechanical knowledge preferred.
  • Knowledge of commercial truck specifications and market trends is highly desirable.
  • Travel within the assigned territory may be required.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in the automotive or commercial truck industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
