Position: Residential Aide – Bellingham Recovery House

Key Responsibilities:

The Residential Aide role operates under the guidance of the Program Director. This position is responsible for supporting the group living environment and the overall milieu of the inpatient program in a non-clinical capacity. The incumbent will perform the following tasks independently:

  • Foster a safe and healthy environment for patients;
  • Assist patients with non-clinical needs as required;
  • Collaborate as a member of the treatment team in a non-clinical role;
  • Execute all milieu responsibilities as assigned;
  • Advocate for patients and help them access necessary community resources and support systems;
  • Maintain accurate and current documentation in accordance with agency policies;
  • Support and uphold agency policies and procedures;
  • Perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent;
  • Understanding of addiction and recovery issues;
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification is mandatory;
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of car insurance are required for staff members;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Excellent attendance record;
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others.

Compensation:

Hourly wage: $19.50, dependent on experience.

Sign-on bonus of $1,500 available for Full-Time Night Shift positions.
