Position: Residential Aide – Bellingham Recovery House

Key Responsibilities:

The Residential Aide operates under the guidance of the Program Director, contributing to the group living environment and supporting the inpatient program in a non-clinical role. The incumbent is responsible for the following:

  • Creating a safe and healthy environment for patients;
  • Assisting patients with non-clinical needs as required;
  • Collaborating as a non-clinical member of the treatment team;
  • Completing all assigned milieu responsibilities;
  • Advocating for patients and facilitating access to community resources and support systems;
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation in accordance with agency policies;
  • Upholding and implementing agency policies and procedures;
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent;
  • Understanding of addiction and recovery issues;
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification is mandatory;
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of current auto insurance are required;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Excellent attendance record;
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others.

Compensation:

$19.50 per hour, depending on experience.

A sign-on bonus of $1,500 is available for Full-Time Night Shift positions.
