Job Summary

The Human Resources (HR) Systems Analyst is a critical role at Ahtna, responsible for analyzing and optimizing HR technologies and workflows to drive business efficiency and effectiveness. This position requires a strong understanding of HR systems, data security, and reporting, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead HR Helpdesk Administrator: Act as the primary point of contact for HR-related issues and concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Report Author and Analyst: Develop and maintain reports to support business decision-making, collaborating with stakeholders to identify data needs and recommend solutions.
  • HR Systems Maintenance and Testing: Perform routine maintenance and testing of HR systems, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Conduct regular data quality checks and recommend improvements to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including HR leadership, employees, and external partners.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 4-5 years of experience in database administration, HR systems, and reporting, with a strong understanding of HR technologies and workflows.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and collaboration skills, and a strong understanding of HR systems, data security, and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • HR Certification: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.
  • Experience with HR Technologies: Experience with UKG Pro, Deltek Costpoint, and Cognos Business Intelligence.
  • Project Management: Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
