Key Responsibilities
  • Minimum of 5 years experience managing a property and casualty portfolio for small commercial clients.
  • Ability to learn and apply established protocols for effective client account management.
  • Proactively address and fulfill the needs of clients across diverse small business industries.
  • Experience in a brokerage environment is preferred.
  • Prioritize client and colleague service with honesty, timeliness, and accuracy.
  • Process and deliver certificates of insurance and evidence of coverage for clients and their additional insureds.
  • Oversee daily servicing, including submission handling to insurers.
  • Assess risk and convey evaluations to clients, colleagues, and insurers.
  • Deliver organized and error-free renewal comparisons, summaries, proposals, and presentations to clients and colleagues.
  • Manage the complete new business and renewal quote process for clients.
  • Experience with agency bill accounts is advantageous.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients regarding coverage and overall account management.
  • Cross-sell existing client accounts to introduce additional lines of business within Symphony Select and other Symphony divisions.
  • Assist clients by processing policy modifications, binding policies, resolving billing issues, and managing claims.
  • Familiarity with AMS 360, ImageRight, and Indio systems is a plus.
  • Conduct special projects as requested by clients, insurers, or management.
  • Exhibit professional written and verbal communication skills with clients, colleagues, and insurers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Education, Licenses, and Certifications

  • Possession of a General Lines Texas Property and Casualty insurance license.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (consideration will be given to significant industry experience in lieu of a degree).
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience is required.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand at a desk. Must be capable of operating desktop computers, multiple monitors, proprietary software, telephones, and standard office equipment. Occasional bending, reaching, and light lifting (up to 10 lbs.) may be necessary. Effective listening, understanding, and communication by telephone and in person are essential for fulfilling the job's core functions.

Work Environment

This position is a full-time hybrid role. Occasionally, after-hours work may be necessary to meet the demands and deadlines associated with the position. The work environment includes the use of standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and telephones in a controlled climate.

Travel Requirements

Limited travel is expected for this role.
