Position Summary:

The Commercial Tire Sales Representative serves as the primary liaison for sales and service within a thriving Commercial Tire Dealership. This role involves managing sales for local fleets and promoting new tires, retreads, and tire services. Regular outreach to existing accounts and prospective clients is crucial for cultivating a profitable business portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with commercial truck tire accounts in assigned territories.
  • Oversee the sales of industrial tires, new truck tires, retreads, and associated services.
  • Maintain relationships with current accounts through consistent sales calls and follow-ups.
  • Familiarize and operate within the existing business system for billing related to sales channels.
  • Ensure acceptable profit margins are achieved.
  • Proactively seek new accounts and represent the company to potential clients.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of products and services to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Meet established sales and gross profit targets.
  • Assess customer needs and make informed recommendations.
  • Prepare weekly sales strategies and complete all required reports following company protocols.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid Driver's License in good standing.
  • Previous sales experience.
  • Able to thrive in a results-oriented, fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must pass a background check, including employment history and criminal record.
  • Must pass a physical examination and drug screening.

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is mandatory. We do not sponsor individuals for employment visas for this position.

Preferred:

  • Experience in commercial tire sales.
  • 5+ years in the tire industry.
  • Knowledge of retread tires.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
  • Standard work hours are typically Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM, with occasional Saturday and evening shifts as needed.
  • This position requires working in various indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to temperature variations.
  • Regularly required to stand, bend, climb, lift, and walk.
  • Must handle hazardous materials and wear necessary protective equipment (safety shoes, gloves, eyewear, etc.). Compliance with OSHA regulations is essential.
  • Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs routinely; occasional lifting of up to 100 lbs may be required.
  • Travel: Approximately 75% within the regional area.
