Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to Nucor's safety programs and standards.
  • Demonstrate leadership aligned with Nucor's vision and values.
  • Oversee post-sale functions including detailing and project management.
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company interests.

  • Lead and execute business strategies focused on safety, quality, and profitability.
  • Produce monthly reports to track team performance against targets.
  • Assign detailing work efficiently to meet customer delivery needs.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of detailing personnel.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Vocational certificate in CAD design/drafting or equivalent experience.
  • Ten years of experience as a rebar detailer or equivalent, with six years in Nucor's detailing system.
  • Three years of supervisory experience in detailing or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two-year technical degree from an accredited institution.

Special Demands:

  • Work hours may extend beyond the standard business day.
  • Travel may be required, including overnight stays.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding personnel and customer information.

Physical Demands:

  • Typical office activities including walking, sitting, and standing.
  • Use of hands for operating tools and electronic equipment.
  • Ability to lift and handle office equipment.
  • Vision abilities including close vision and focus adjustment.
