Project Coordinator Job Description

Storage Rentals of America is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, execution, and coordination of various projects within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support project managers in planning, executing, and monitoring project activities.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining project plans, schedules, and timelines.
  • Coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and minute-taking.
  • Facilitate communication between project team members and stakeholders.
  • Maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Track project tasks, milestones, and deliverables to ensure adherence to project timelines.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Assist in coordinating project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Identify and document project risks and issues.
  • Assist in implementing risk mitigation strategies and resolving project issues in a timely manner.
  • Support quality assurance efforts by ensuring project deliverables meet established standards and requirements.
  • Assist in conducting quality reviews and evaluations as needed.
  • Assist in communicating project updates, progress, and issues to stakeholders.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding project-related inquiries.
Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree or Bachelor's degree (preferred) in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
  • At least two years of proven experience in project coordination or similar administrative role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Exposure and knowledge in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Confluence, or Jira.
  • Ability to work well independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proven track record of effectively organizing, maintaining, and updating project documentation throughout its lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies is preferred.
