Court Reporter for Administrative Hearings

We are seeking a skilled Court Reporter to provide high-quality transcription services for administrative hearings. As a Court Reporter, you will be responsible for accurately capturing the spoken words of all participants in the hearing.
The ideal candidate will have excellent listening and note-taking skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You should be detail-oriented, organized, and able to maintain confidentiality in sensitive situations.
Main Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate recording equipment to ensure accurate capture of testimony
* Produce complete and accurate transcripts of administrative hearings
* Gather and distribute exhibits and supporting materials during the hearing
* Provide administrative support as needed
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Knowledge of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling essential
* Ability to operate a variety of office equipment, including copiers and fax machines
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
* Must be punctual, trustworthy, and have reliable transportation
* Must type 60 WPM and have a printer/scanner at home
* Legal or medical terminology helpful but not mandatory

Estimated salary range: $45,000 - $65,000 per year.
