Job Title: Society Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Society Administrator. This role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our office, including rental management, office administration, and property management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the rental of our building spaces, including coordinating with event renters and maintaining an online calendar of events
  • Administer the Society budget and purchasing process, including maintaining expenses at budgeted levels and informing committees of any deviations
  • Manage the maintenance of office equipment and supplies, including copiers, computers, and network systems
  • Supervise the custodian and housekeeper, and order janitorial supplies as needed
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed, including producing reports and letters with the Treasurer and Finance Committee
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Multiple years of non-profit management experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, including Microsoft and Google applications
  • Ability to work comfortably at a standard office desk and climb multiple flights of stairs during the course of a regular day
