Position Overview

Our client, a prominent player in the media and entertainment sector, is seeking an HR Operations Specialist to support their human resources initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt assistance to all HR-related inquiries, collaborating with the HR team to ensure effective resolution of issues.
  • Act as a primary user for various payroll systems, handling SAP HR transactions, including onboarding, offboarding, and exit interviews.
  • Work in conjunction with the Timekeeper team to address payroll challenges and solutions.
  • Coordinate closely with HRIS to resolve SAP discrepancies and maintain accurate employee data.
  • Process changes related to employee data, promotions, timekeeping actions, and termination documentation.
  • Familiarize yourself with HR policies and practices to effectively respond to employee inquiries regarding Payroll, Benefits, Work/Life balance, Employee Perks, PTO, and Company Policies.
  • Update and maintain job descriptions for various client groups.
  • Provide backup support for the HR team and assist in additional areas as required.
  • Uphold a high level of confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with HR systems, particularly SAP, is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of HR or related experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • At least 1 year of administrative experience, proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Proven ability to manage HR processes and deliver high-quality HR services.
  • Experience in both union and non-union environments, particularly in retail or hospitality, is a plus.
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
