Role Summary:

We are in search of a Technical Solutions Engineer who will be instrumental in our sales and solution design initiatives. Your contributions will be pivotal in enhancing our revenue through effective technical guidance and customer interaction.

This role operates in a hybrid work environment, with a designated HUB for in-office days and remote work, determined by your manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to the company's sales methodologies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Engage in customer interactions, leading or supporting opportunities as directed by Solutions Engineering leadership.
  • Create and deliver professional presentations at various organizational levels, employing a consultative approach to identify client challenges and objectives.
  • Develop technical solutions that optimize the use of Frontier's offerings, while staying informed about competitors and preparing to highlight our unique advantages.
  • Foster revenue growth by establishing and nurturing key technical and business relationships, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among Frontier teams.
  • Prepare and facilitate a seamless transition from Sales to implementation/support teams through comprehensive technical handoffs.
  • Cultivate positive working relationships both internally and externally, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Frontier's products and services, fulfilling all necessary certifications and adhering to company protocols.
  • Mentor colleagues within the organization and complete all required training, achieving quarterly performance targets.
  • Document time and activities in the company's CRM system, following expense control policies and meeting deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel, which may average 50% or more depending on the role and region.

Required Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience in solution selling within large-scale enterprises, demonstrating a successful track record.
  • Minimum of two to three years of customer-facing experience in the telecommunications sector.
  • Significant background in commercial telecommunications, particularly in SD-WAN and cloud services (Google Cloud, Azure, AWS).
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain strategic relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Competence in analyzing customer business processes and leveraging insights into comprehensive business models.
  • Self-motivated with experience leading medium to large-scale projects.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, including IPv4 and IPv6, LAN, WAN (including SD-WAN), and security design principles.
  • Additional desired qualifications include active certifications in Google, AWS, or Azure Cloud services; MEF/Ciena (Ethernet); cloud-based disaster recovery strategies; managed hosting services; and network security methodologies.
