AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Engineer to join our Southern California Site Investigation and Remediation team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical services to our clients, including remediation consulting, design, and implementation services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical input to studies and design in your specific area(s) of expertise.
- Develop study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality and cost-effective work by others.
- Participate in the interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
- Develop construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
- Use expertise to complete discipline component of PS&E package.
- Perform quality control review of deliverables.
- Prepare technical specification sections.
- Provide input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
- Assist or lead proposal efforts to provide services or obtain funding for project or programs.
- Bachelor's degree in chemical, civil, mechanical, or environmental engineering or related field.
- 6 years of experience in environmental engineering consulting or demonstrated equivalency of experience and education.
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident, we cannot sponsor for this role.
- Valid California driver's license, which will be subject to a motor vehicle records check.
- 8 years of experience in environmental engineering consulting or demonstrated equivalency of experience and education.
- Prior project management experience.
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
- Advanced degree related to the position.
- Prior experience managing direct reports.
- Acquired or able to obtain PE certification within 12 months of accepting a position.
