About GPI

GPI is on the lookout for a civil site engineering Project Manager to enhance our expanding operations in New England. We are engaged in a variety of stimulating projects, including residential and commercial developments. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine enthusiasm for their profession and a robust ambition to excel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing complex land development projects for a range of nationally recognized clients
  • Leading a proficient team of engineers and technicians
  • Providing mentorship to junior team members
  • Engaging with clients and local/state agencies, including participation in public hearings
  • Managing project scopes, timelines, and financial plans
  • Drafting contracts and evaluating invoices
  • Ensuring technical precision, adherence to standard engineering practices, and comprehensive documentation on project plans, reports, and design documents
  • Participating in the preparation of construction drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Conducting hydrologic and hydraulic analyses
  • Collaborating with your management team to achieve future objectives and vision.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
  • Experience in land development design, including site layout, grading, utilities, stormwater management, and erosion control
  • Proven project management experience
  • Strong communication skills for public engagements and collaboration with public agencies
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred; successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is mandatory
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D
  • Experience with HydroCAD
Essential Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Have access to a personal vehicle for job site use
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend plans and instructions in English
  • Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to create and modify Microsoft Word and Excel documents, manage Outlook emails, and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams for team communication
  • Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) while on site
