Position Overview

GPI is on the lookout for a Project Manager specializing in civil site engineering to enhance our expanding operations in New England. We are currently managing a diverse portfolio of projects, including residential and commercial developments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence and a strong drive for success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing a variety of land development projects for a range of nationally recognized clients
  • Leading a skilled team of engineers and technical personnel
  • Providing mentorship to junior team members
  • Engaging with clients and local/state agencies, including participation in public hearings
  • Managing project scopes, timelines, and financials
  • Drafting contracts and reviewing billing statements
  • Ensuring technical precision, adherence to engineering standards, and proper documentation on project plans and reports
  • Actively preparing construction drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Conducting hydrologic and hydraulic assessments
  • Collaborating with management to achieve future objectives and vision.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
  • Experience in land development design, including site layout, grading, utilities, stormwater management, and erosion control
  • Proven project management experience
  • Strong communication skills for public engagements and collaboration with governmental agencies
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred; completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is mandatory
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D
  • Experience with HydroCAD
Essential Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Have access to a personal vehicle for site visits
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend plans and instructions in English
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and familiarity with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
  • Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) while on site
