Position Overview:
The Director of Clinical Research Partnerships will act as the primary liaison between affiliated health systems, overseeing the selection and initiation of clinical trials while providing necessary expertise to enhance the program's effectiveness. This role will operate in a collaborative partnership with the AVP of Clinical Research and will report to both leadership teams of the respective health organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and develop the Clinical Trials Alliance between the health systems.
• Facilitate the creation of specialized research steering committees (e.g., oncology, cardiology, neurology) to guide the strategic vision and implementation of relevant policies and procedures, including feasibility assessments for study approvals.
• Organize a comprehensive research training program based at the institution for all staff levels.
• Formulate a strategy to leverage resources from the Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA), including patient recruitment technologies and training initiatives.
• Collaborate with investigators, the Clinical Trials Office, and regulatory bodies to facilitate the opening of trials.
• Contribute to the expansion strategy for a community clinical trials program in collaboration with other healthcare providers statewide.
• Offer insights into plans for extending clinical trials to community hospitals.

Compensation:
Annual salary range: $133,000 - $212,825.60

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; a Master’s degree in business or healthcare, RN, or other clinical qualifications may substitute for experience.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical trials management and regulatory compliance is essential, with a background in research as an investigator or supporting role.
Licensure: No specific licensure required.

Physical Requirements:
This position primarily involves sedentary work with significant use of desktop computers. Occasional travel may be necessary for meetings and programs.
