About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Representative to join our team focused on direct sales recruitment (DSR) of minority-owned businesses. As an Account Representative, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, acquiring, and growing minority-owned businesses selling on Amazon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and qualify minority-owned businesses selling on Amazon
  • Implement and track metrics for recording the success and quality of sellers in your vertical/territory
  • Use Salesforce.com CRM tools to track account information and sales progress
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the e-commerce industry and competitive environment
  • Prioritize and complete additional projects while maintaining current book of business
  • Prepare and deliver business reviews regarding progress and state of health for the respective territory
  • Manage numerous opportunities concurrently and strategically
About the Team

Amazon's Black Business Accelerator is dedicated to helping build sustainable equity and growth for Black entrepreneurs by enabling their success as sellers. We help Black-owned Businesses grow their business with access to financial support, strategic business guidance and mentorship, and marketing and promotional support.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 3+ years of sales or marketing work (like e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent experience
  • Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level
  • Experience using data and metrics to draw business insights
  • Experience managing a diverse portfolio of projects and responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of procurement and source to pay methods at small and medium businesses
  • Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach or equivalent
  • 2+ years of outbound sales experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $62,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $132,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
