About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our team at Amazon Services LLC. As a key member of our Black Business Accelerator (BBA) team, you will play a critical role in driving financial inclusion initiatives that support the growth of Black-owned businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a comprehensive financial literacy and inclusion strategy to increase business finance knowledge and advance growth opportunities for BBA and small business community members.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify, drive, and scale financial literacy initiatives that benefit Black and undiscovered business owners.
  • Lead a pan-Amazon group focused on financial inclusion to collaborate and develop relevant financial products.
  • Develop and optimize critical mechanisms required to ensure long-term expansion and success of a financial literacy program.
  • Track and report learnings and effectiveness to internal stakeholders.
  • Represent complex decisions, tough trade-offs, and potential solutions clearly to leaders to help them understand the decisions they have to make and what options they have.
  • Proactively lead the development and execution of new opportunities to drive cross-functional and cross-regional alignment to achieve strategic capital goals.
About the Team

Amazon's Black Business Accelerator (BBA) supports Black-owned businesses to build sustainable growth by explicitly targeting barriers to access, opportunity, and advancement created by societal and historical imbalances. The program helps Black business owners grow their business with access to financial support, strategic business guidance, mentorship, and marketing and promotional support.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  • Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or Master's degree.
  • 3+ years of working cross-functionally with non-tech teams experience.
