The Strategic Finance division at Genesys plays a pivotal role in steering the company's financial forecasting and reporting for stakeholders, including the formulation of the annual budget and long-term strategic plans. This team provides executives with ongoing analysis of the company's performance against key strategic objectives.

This Senior Finance Specialist position will oversee the financial forecasting and analytical processes for the Product Support and Technical Account Management (TAM) sectors within the Customer Support Services (CSS) organization, collaborating closely with finance and business partners across all levels of the organization.

We seek a motivated and accomplished finance expert with a solid history of achieving results, eager to advance their career by becoming a vital strategic ally for the CSS business.

Key Responsibilities


- Establish yourself as a trusted advisor for Product Support and TAM leadership, as well as other cross-functional teams, to facilitate informed financial decision-making.

- Develop and manage the budgeting and forecasting processes for Product Support and TAM, encompassing both headcount and non-labor expenditures.

- Collaborate with business leaders, Human Resources, and other Finance teams to implement the strategic roadmap.

- Create variance analyses, bridges, and presentations that elucidate trends and insights for leadership, the board of directors, and external investor communications.

- Conduct month-end closing activities, including accrual preparation and coordination with accounting.

- Reconcile and ensure data consistency from various sources while driving the automation of reports and analyses.

- Analyze and interpret data to generate insights and recommendations.

- Support ad-hoc financial projects to assist leadership in making sound financial decisions.


Key Qualifications


- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Science, or a related field.

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate finance, consulting, or accounting environments; experience in the SaaS/Cloud industry is advantageous.

- Proficient in advanced Excel and financial modeling techniques.

- Exceptional attention to detail and quality.

- Skilled in PowerPoint, business intelligence tools (Tableau/PowerBI), planning, ERP systems, and reporting systems. Familiarity with Hyperion Planning is a plus.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and consultative skills, with a curious and growth-oriented mindset when tackling complex challenges.
