About the Role: We are collaborating with Hydrogen Group, a prestigious law firm recognized for its exceptional Projects, Energy, and Infrastructure team. We are seeking a Project Finance Specialist with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulating and negotiating essential financing agreements for substantial and intricate projects, including but not limited to purchase contracts, partnership contracts, credit facilities, security and pledge agreements, and depositary contracts.
- Assessing project documentation, which encompasses development contracts, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Engineering, Procurement, and Construction contracts (EPCs), site control agreements, and interconnection contracts.
- Conducting related due diligence to ensure compliance and risk management.
Ideal Candidate: This position is perfect for a driven legal professional eager to elevate their career within a supportive team that offers excellent mentorship opportunities.
Qualifications: Admission to the California state bar is mandatory, and candidates must maintain good standing. Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese, along with experience in the renewable energy sector, is highly advantageous.
