POSITION SUMMARY
The role involves managing affiliation agreements and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to address and resolve issues related to affiliation processing. The aim is to ensure accurate affiliations, timely royalty distributions, and a positive experience for all applicants and affiliates.

LOCATION
This position is based in the Nashville, TN office, where a hybrid work model is currently in place. Most team members are expected to work in the office three days a week, with future transitions being evaluated as the situation evolves, prioritizing employee safety during the ongoing pandemic.

FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Reviewing and processing various types of affiliation agreements while participating in estate-related matters in a dynamic and visible environment.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of all post-affiliation processes, including tax-related matters and termination procedures.
  • Providing assistance to the BMI Creative team and other internal departments with high-priority affiliations.
  • Responding to inquiries and effectively communicating BMI's affiliation policies, practices, and procedures to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contributing to operational development initiatives and related systems testing.
  • Collaborating with the Agreements, Works, and Repertoire Quality teams to ensure data quality related to affiliations and terminations.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
  • Ensuring regular attendance.
  • Supporting BMI's Core Values and fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion.

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education: A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in an administrative or operational role, preferably within the music industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

SALARY RANGE
The specific base salary offered to a successful candidate will be determined based on individual qualifications, skills, experience, and education. The pay range is subject to change based on various internal and external factors. The position may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses.
