POSITION SUMMARY
This role is responsible for managing affiliation agreements and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to address and resolve any processing challenges. The aim is to ensure accurate affiliations, timely royalty distributions, and a positive experience for all applicants and affiliates.
LOCATION
This position is based in the Nashville, TN office, where a hybrid work model is currently in place. Team members are expected to work in the office three days a week, with future transitions being evaluated as we prioritize employee safety amidst ongoing health considerations.
FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Reviewing and processing various types of affiliation agreements while engaging in estate-related matters within a dynamic and visible environment.
- Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of all post-affiliation processes, including tax implications and termination protocols.
- Supporting the BMI Creative team and other internal departments with high-priority affiliations.
- Providing assistance, addressing inquiries, and effectively communicating BMI's affiliation policies and procedures to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Contributing to operational enhancements and transformation initiatives, including systems testing.
- Collaborating with the Agreements, Works, and Repertoire Quality teams to ensure data integrity related to affiliations and terminations.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
- Ensuring regular attendance.
- Upholding BMI's Core Values and fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion.
POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education: A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of two years of relevant experience in an administrative or operational capacity, preferably within the music industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

SALARY RANGE
The specific base salary offered to a successful candidate will be determined based on individual qualifications, skills, experience, and education. The pay range is subject to change based on various internal and external factors. This position may also qualify for performance-based bonuses.
