About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Business Development Manager to join our team at Landing. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base for Autopilot, our premier product.

Success in this role requires a proven track record of identifying and closing new business opportunities, as well as building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers.

About the Team:

Our Development team is responsible for selling Autopilot and managing our partner relationships. As a Sr. Business Development Manager, you will work closely with our team to develop and execute sales strategies that drive growth and revenue.

You will be working directly with our building owner management groups, property management groups, and will report to the VP of Development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sell Autopilot to Multifamily Ownership Groups and Property Management Groups around the US
  • Closing deals is the name of the game, daily follow up w/ leads and relationship building is key
  • Lead sourcing, identifying then testing creative ways to get in front of decision makers
  • Zoom/remote pitches are common, but getting out into the field to meet local teams to close deals is regular
  • Contract negotiation is a muscle you'll use regularly
  • Industry networking, getting existing partners to refer us to who they know
  • You'll work cross functionally with our AP Ops team on the deals you close
  • Based in Birmingham, AL HQ office
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of successful collaboration with Service/Implementation teams
  • Consistent history of exceeding sales quotas
  • Strong planning skills and ability to implement successful sales strategies
  • Excellent work ethic, written and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel across the country to close a deal
  • 2+ years of relevant sales experience
