Customer Service Retail Specialist

Position Overview:
The Retail Customer Experience Representative is dedicated to providing exceptional service to all customers visiting our retail location. This role involves managing package processing for courier services and operating various office equipment, including copiers, fax machines, and point-of-sale systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exemplary customer service to both walk-in clients and those inquiring via phone.
- Employ active listening skills to understand customer needs and collaborate effectively with team members and management.
- Take initiative in addressing customer shipping requirements and propose suitable solutions.
- Commit to learning about all product offerings, service alternatives, and current industry trends.
- Operate all office equipment proficiently and assist others in using these tools.
- Maintain a tidy, organized, and safe workspace.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to cross-sell and up-sell products and services effectively.
- Excellent packing and organizational skills.
- Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, including basic math skills.
- Reliable and responsible with a commitment to teamwork.
- Capable of lifting over 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work weekends and stand for extended periods.
- Proficient in the safe and efficient operation of office machinery.
End of Day Duties:
- Accurately reconcile cash, checks, credit card transactions, and other financial activities in accordance with company policies.
Merchandising Responsibilities:
- Assist in stocking shelves, ensuring a clean and orderly presentation of products, and notifying appropriate personnel regarding inventory levels for reordering.
