Position Overview

Full-time Employment (1.0 FTE)

  • Approximately 1500 hours of physician contact annually
  • Flexible shift options of 8 and 12 hours
  • Opportunity for a 2-year partnership track
  • Parkview Regional Medical Center experiences an average of 65,000 patient visits each year
  • Parkview Randallia Hospital sees around 60,000 patient visits annually
  • Physicians will deliver specialized medical care tailored to patient requirements
  • Manage a diverse patient load with both critical and non-critical conditions, including cardiac events, strokes, trauma, severe infections, and respiratory illnesses, while performing necessary assessments, diagnostic tests, and treatments to stabilize patients and coordinate referrals to appropriate medical departments.
  • Utilization of EPIC EMR
  • Access to 24/7 in-house Trauma and Acute Care Surgery, Cardiology, Intensivists, Hospitalists, and Radiologists
  • Neurointervention services available around the clock
  • Cardiac Catheterization lab operational 24/7

  • Professional Emergency Physicians, P.C. (PEP) serves 9 active hospital emergency departments within Parkview Health.
  • The team consists of 60 Emergency Physicians and 40 Advanced Practice Providers committed to delivering exceptional emergency care in northeast Indiana.
  • PEP has provided Emergency Physician coverage for Parkview Hospital since 1972, expanding over the past 50 years to cover nine 24/7 emergency departments across all Parkview Health facilities.
