The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a dedicated and skilled physician to provide exceptional patient-centered care to adults aged 18 and older, including seniors. This role involves a comprehensive assessment of Veterans' health needs through advanced clinical judgment and physical examination skills.
Key Responsibilities:
(1) Deliver high-quality healthcare services, ensuring safety and efficiency within the department.
(2) Conduct thorough evaluations and identify various health issues, whether acute, chronic, or non-acute.
(3) Facilitate effective communication with patients and their families, providing education and support throughout the care process.
(4) Coordinate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and diagnostic procedures.
(5) Maintain clinical privileges and adhere to all relevant policies and directives.
(6) Engage in daily patient care activities, including follow-up planning and medication reconciliation.
(7) Participate in physician-to-physician discussions regarding patient admissions and treatment plans.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, with potential for additional hours.

Qualifications:
