Job Summary:The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all Accounts Payable department activities, including supervising, training, interviewing, hiring, counseling, and terminating employees as circumstances dictate.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage productivity and accuracy levels by reviewing daily reports, assisting team members with research and resolution of complex issues, and monitoring system error queues.
- Manage XM processing by reviewing XM reports, handling XM help desk tickets and approval questions from departments, communicating with employees when there is an issue, and reviewing files prior to interfacing into payroll.
- Provide excellent customer service by researching processing issues, resolving barriers to payments in ImageNow and Lawson, providing feedback on issues to vendors and/or internal departments, and logging help desk tickets when there is a system issue for Lawson or ImageNow.
- Manage testing on all upgrades and new modules by maintaining testing scripts for all systems utilized by the AP team, working with IT on all testing projects, and documenting progress and reporting to the Project Manager and AP Director.
- High school diploma equivalent required and Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field.
- Minimum 5 years in Accounts Payable Management Experience required.
- Intermediate Excel, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to multi-task utilizing multiple systems to complete assigned tasks.
- Subject Matter Expert for XM, Lawson, and ImageNow.
