Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources and Operations professional to join our team at Bonsai Robotics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, business operations, and finance, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all HR administrative functions and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Develop and implement new HR policies and initiatives, in collaboration with the leadership team
  • Oversee office management, including procurement, inventory management, and facilities maintenance
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding and ensure a smooth transition into the company
  • Process invoices and audit payments to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Coordinate with government offices to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Manage company procurement activities and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Coordinate and manage deliveries at Bonsai Robotics' HQ, field office, and other locations
  • Schedule and manage visitors to Bonsai Robotics' HQ office
  • Assist the leadership team with other initiatives as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field
  • At least 1 year of prior related experience
  • Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to operate under deadlines and ambiguity in an environment with changing priorities
  • Ability to interface professionally with C-Suite executives, customers, partners, etc.
  • Willingness and interest to operate in various areas of the business and grow skillset
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and care
Bonus Points
  • Master's Degree, SHRM certification, or related further education or certifications
  • Experience operating in the same or similar space (agriculture)
  • Experience operating in a startup environment
  • Experience working with C-level executives
  • Experience with scheduling meetings of multiple people with busy calendars
  • Experience with programs such as Slack, Confluence, and the Google Workspace ecosystem
  • Experience with HRIS systems, particularly Rippling
