Program Coordination Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Innovation Program Coordinator. This is a remote opportunity that requires strong research skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

About the Position

In this role, you will support the design, development, implementation, and administration of our suite of innovation programs. You will collaborate with a team of financial professionals to gather intelligence, build relationships, and advance New Jersey's innovation economy.

Responsibilities
  • Support program launch and administration efforts.
  • Develop program structure, policies, and procedures.
  • Evaluate program processes, eligibility, execution, and compliance monitoring.
  • Perform statistical analysis and activity memorandums.
  • Liaise across departments and external stakeholders.
  • Promote teamwork and communication.
  • Coordinate outreach to establish and maintain relationships with corporate partners and investors.
  • Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) database per departmental standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have advanced research skills, the ability to work with excel spreadsheets and software applications, initiative and creativity, interest in policy and legal framework development, and effective communication abilities. A graduate degree program in accounting, business administration, finance, economics, economic development, or a related field is required. A minimum GPA of 3.0 with some course work in capital formation/venture capital is also necessary.

Work Environment

This is a remote position that requires minimal travel and physical demands. You must be available to work full-time starting on October 1st and have very limited time off through April 1st.
