Job Summary

American Training is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to coordinate healthcare support for our Day Habilitation program in Lowell, MA. As a key member of our team, you will provide assessment and direct nursing care to our guests, ensuring they receive the highest level of care consistent with best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment and direct nursing care to guests as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Communicate medical changes and needs to Residential and Clinical Vice President/Directors, Senior Nurse Manager, and colleagues
  • Coordinate medical supports, including emergency treatment, as required for guests
  • Assume direct nursing care for all program guests
  • Train colleagues and ensure competency in special needs and medical issues of guests
  • Provide technical training and ensure competency of colleagues in the use of medical devices
Requirements
  • Nursing degree with a Massachusetts RN license in good standing, preferably with a minimum of 2 years' experience
  • One-year related experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Knowledge of MAP regulations and Department of Developmental Services regulations a plus
  • Satisfactory CORI
