About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Business Development Associate to join our team at commercetools, Inc. This is an exciting opportunity to kick-start your career in technology sales and be part of our 18-month Sales Track program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support senior Business Development Representatives in strategic prospecting efforts, account research, lead routing, and other ad-hoc tasks.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to grow and improve customer intelligence.
  • Conduct account/industry research for prospecting needs while ensuring CRM hygiene in Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • Route new inbound leads to the appropriate Business Development Representative.
  • Work with Team Lead to analyze lead lists and report back to the Campaigns team.
  • Drive event attendance and follow up with prospects.
  • Engage with prospects via telephone and email to assess their needs.
  • Help drive innovation, knowledge-sharing, and fun in our team meetings.
  • Focus on your professional development by attending internal courses.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
