Business Development Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Manager to join our Beauty, Health & Fashion team in Chicago. This role will focus on developing and executing sales strategies to drive growth in our cosmetics, fashion, and jewelry territories in North America.

The ideal candidate will have a solid degree in business and a passion for international markets and market research. They will be responsible for evaluating territory potential, prospecting new accounts, and developing strategic account development plans.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • New business sales and achieving sales targets
  • Evaluating territory potential and prospecting new accounts
  • Developing strategic account development plans
  • Developing and fostering new relationships through high-level activities, including in-person meetings and cold calling
  • Conducting effective presentations
  • Proposal writing and winning new clients
  • Maintaining effective internal communication
  • Pipeline balance and management
  • Achieving developmental benchmarks

Requirements include:

  • Commercial awareness and self-motivation
  • Knowledge or interest in international markets and market research
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
  • Goal-oriented, target-driven, and highly organized
  • Able to work under pressure to produce results
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; MBA will help accelerate success
