About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Care Specialist to join our Sea Logistics team in Jersey City. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our clients receive accurate and timely information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsive Communication: You will be the primary point of contact for our customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving their issues in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Creative Troubleshooting: You will use your problem-solving skills to resolve complex customer issues and provide creative solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Team Collaboration: You will work closely with our sales, operations, marketing, and technical support teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Master of Documentation: You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our customer service management system to ensure smooth follow-up and resolution.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Sea Logistics
  • 5+ years of customer service experience
  • Extensive knowledge of Sea Logistics import processing from A-Z
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to pay attention to detail
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule requiring on-site presence 4 days per week
  • Ability to travel for business and training purposes

The hourly wage range for this position is between $26.44 and $33.65. Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles.
