Patient Services Coordinator

Job Summary:
Pennsylvania Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our medical office, providing exceptional patient care, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Clinical and Administrative Operations: Assist in the planning, organization, and implementation of clinical and administrative operations, ensuring seamless patient flow and efficient use of resources.
- Provide Exceptional Patient Care: Strive to understand and anticipate patient needs, manage service recovery efforts, and enlist management assistance as needed.
- Manage Scheduling and Registration: Schedule patient appointments, manage patient registration, and ensure accurate and thorough documentation in our electronic medical record system.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate with patients, staff, and management to ensure clear understanding of patient needs, office policies, and procedures.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic and insurance information.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Maintain knowledge of industry developments, including changes in regulations, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Education: Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in a medical office setting, with a focus on patient services and clinical operations.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in electronic medical record systems.
