About the Company
Randstad, a leading workforce solutions company with over 50 years of history and a strong global presence, is expanding its business within the APAC region. We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to drive new business growth by actively engaging with potential prospects and developing strategies and sales plans to identify new business opportunities.
About the Role
As a key member of our team, you will report to the Managing Director and be responsible for:
- Developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies to expand market share within the APAC region
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams with Fortune 1000 companies, understanding their pain points and devising appropriate solutions
- Engaging with senior stakeholders and C-level executives, delivering compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients, showcasing our products and services and value proposition
- Staying updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to provide customized solutions and stay competitive
- Preparing regular sales reports and forecasts to provide insights into performance and assist in management decision-making
- Gathering and analyzing customer feedback to improve products and services
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to support business development efforts
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including a proven B2B sales track record within the APAC region, with a willingness to travel when required
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand client needs and offer customized solutions
- Able to engage and manage clients of all levels, including C-level executives across the region, with confidence in public speaking when necessary
