About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to join our team in Singapore. As a Business Development Director, you will be responsible for driving growth in existing and new client relationships, navigating upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and managing the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and deal closure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the MD APAC, you will own your sales pipelines and all opportunities in your portfolio.
  • Providing consultative expertise across platform capabilities, marketing strategy, and analytics to Medium to Large Enterprises.
  • Taking sales from prospecting to close, both for outbound sales efforts and inbound referrals/leads.
  • Accountable for strategic account planning and customer relationship management.
  • Recognizing and answering RFPs and communicating with customers.
  • Organizing and managing RFI/RFPs and preparing sales pitches.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in martech/adtech, with consultative expertise to help derive real business value from client partnerships.
  • Experience working in a new business sales role, specifically selling into enterprise organizations across SEA.
  • Regional experience in local markets with a good understanding of cultural nuances for client communication and relationship management.
  • Good knowledge of and experience working with major ad-tech/mar-tech stacks, inclusive of marketing automation, CRM, DSPs, ad servers, social or web analytics platforms.
  • Strong verbal, visual, and written communication skills, particularly in blending analysis and narrative to create compelling slide presentations and business proposals.
