Job Overview

As a Home Care Support Specialist, you will receive a *$500 Sign-on Bonus* and earn between $17-$19 per hour, with an additional Night & Weekend Differential Pay of $1.50 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain effective communication with clients, their families, and the Spectrum Office.
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and perform basic housekeeping duties, including tidying, vacuuming, dusting, laundry, and changing bed linens.
  • Facilitate grocery shopping and run errands as needed.
  • Provide companionship and engage in social activities.
  • Remind clients to take their medications.
  • Offer transportation for medical appointments and other necessary outings.

We offer various shifts, including day, evening, weekend, and upcoming overnight opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of professional experience in in-home caregiving, home health aide, or personal care aide is preferred but not mandatory.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Willingness to undergo a driving record check and criminal background investigation.

Salary: Starting at $19.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus a $1.50 night and weekend premium. A 90-day review will be conducted with potential for wage increases, along with annual evaluations.
