Job Description

Job Title: Home Care Consultant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Home Care Consultant to join our team at Home Instead Senior Care. As a Home Care Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring achievement of revenue objectives for the assigned territory by researching and pursuing new referral sources and enhancing and maintaining relationships with existing referral sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain Referral Provider Network Relationships: Research and develop relationships with referral providers, including hospitals, physicians, home health agencies, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, senior centers, hospice, and rehabilitation centers.
  • Generate Inquiries and Sales: Achieve inquiry generation objectives for assigned territory by bringing in new business to increase overall market share.
  • Develop and Maintain Knowledge of Home Instead Brand: Develop and maintain knowledge of Home Instead brand and effectively present marketing materials and services to referral providers.
  • Record and Analyze Sales and Prospecting Activities: Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within the assigned territory.
  • Develop a Database of Qualified Leads: Develop a database of qualified leads from referrals through face-to-face cold calling on referral providers, email, telephone, and Web.
  • Conduct Service Inquiries and Care Consultations: Conduct Service Inquiries and Care Consultations as needed following the consultative sales process.
  • Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Client/Care Professional Introductions: Conduct client/Care Professional introductions as needed.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance Visits: Conduct quality assurance (QA) visits with clients as needed.
  • Participate in PR Strategies: Participate in various PR strategies.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • College Degree or Equivalent Work Experience: College degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Related Business or Sales Experience: Related business or sales experience, preferably in consultative sales.
